Projects Abroad

Since 1992, Projects Abroad has partnered with institutions to design academically grounded, field-based programs that connect students with real-world challenges and local expertise. We specialize in immersive experiences across conservation, global health, education, business, and community development - rooted in long-term community partnerships rather than short-term placements.

With in-country teams in 22 destinations, Projects Abroad provides the local infrastructure, risk management, and academic framing institutions need to move beyond surface-level engagement. Our programs are intentionally designed to support learning outcomes, reflective practice, and ethical community collaboration - whether through faculty-led courses, cohort programs, or structured internships and field experiences.
